2022 Award Winners

The 2022 NJSAS award winners were selected after careful deliberation by jurors Ilene Dube (art journalist, blogger, curator and documentary filmmaker),  Erik James Montgomery (fine art photographer, arts educator, muralist, and collaborative artist) and Janis Purcell (sculptor, trustee at the Trenton City Museum, and arts administrator). The jurors were greatly impressed by the overall quality, imagination and creativity on display and spent many hours discussing the professionalism and unique points of view as they considered the work in each category. They felt that there was no clear line between professional and non-professional work on display, but appreciated the fact that having those two categories allowed them to consider more works for awards. “Congratulations to everyone in this year’s exhibit!” To view the entire show, be sure to check out the Gallery Page.
